The 2019 cohort of SCI China Visiting Scholars is headed back to Chengdu. The six scholars, who are planners and designers from the China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group Co. LTD (CREEC), spent the past nine months engaging with transportation planning in Oregon and Washington. The UO campus community was fortunate to have an opportunity to participate in a presentation session and discussion forum on October 14 to learn about the scholars' experiences and insights comparing transportation in the US and China. We wish them a fond farewell and look forward to learning about their future work. A new group of scholars will arrive in June 2020.
