For the 2012-13 academic year, the Sustainable City Year Program worked with Lane Transit District (LTD) and the City of Springfield. Courses across five departments assisted Oregon cities and transit districts with sustainability projects at a variety of scales. In the previous three years, more than 1,300 students worked to help Oregon cities transition to a more sustainable and livable future through the Sustainable City Year Program.
