Through our partnership with Beijing Tsinghua Urban Planning and Design Institute (THUPDI), SCI works to translate the knowledge and experience at the University of Oregon and in Oregon into global training programs. SCI has flexible, customizable training programs for Chinese professionals, ranging from on-site visits in China, short-term training workshops in Oregon, and online modules. SCI is also working with our partners to apply for funds from the Energy Foundation (China Center) to launch the training programs.
Available Training Modules for 2016
- A two-week summer training program in Oregon focusing on one or two topic areas
- A one-week symposium (including site visits and tours) in Oregon focusing on one or two topic areas.
These modules typically have 15-20 participants, including professionals from various planning and design institutes and officials from Chinese mayors’ associations.
